Deye introduces ORION W and ORION E commercial storage systems

The launch separates indoor modular deployment from outdoor cabinet applications, alongside cloud energy management and lifecycle service functions.

In a launch announcement dated June 2, 2026, Deye introduced two new C&I storage product ranges: ORION W for indoor deployment and ORION E for outdoor applications. The event also presented the Deye Cloud intelligent energy-management platform and its global service system, extending the company's offering from product delivery to lifecycle operation.

ORION W uses a modular stacked architecture, with single-cluster capacities from 60 kWh to 192 kWh and support for up to 16 parallel clusters, allowing expansion for different C&I project requirements.

The company highlights simplified installation as a principal benefit. A cabinet-free design without external inter-module cables completes electrical connections through module stacking, reducing field wiring and installation work. Depending on configuration, Deye states that a complete system can be deployed in approximately 35 minutes, supporting both initial construction and later expansion.

Deye describes greater continuous-power capability and improved utilisation at the same capacity. Its new 3.0 dual-layer active-balancing technology coordinates cell- and pack-level management, correcting inconsistencies during operation and reducing manual maintenance requirements.

For dusty and hot industrial environments, ORION W incorporates air filtration and separate cell-cooling airflow paths to limit dust ingress and control cell-temperature differences.

ORION E: layered system protection

The outdoor ORION E battery cabinet was introduced alongside the indoor range.

Its design seeks to provide more energy within a constrained installation area. Structural optimisation and closer integration increase energy density while retaining a compact footprint, with the aim of improving usable energy and project economics.

Protection layers include warning and monitoring, electrical isolation, active ventilation, pressure relief, fire-system interfaces and thermal-runaway suppression. Smoke, temperature and combustible-gas sensors monitor conditions, while active ventilation and cabinet-level fire-protection interfaces support operation.

Three-stage airflow and intelligent fan controls manage internal temperatures and uneven ageing. The system supports rapid installation and later expansion for changing requirements in factories, industrial parks, agricultural facilities and remote locations.

Deye Cloud: energy optimisation and operating protection

Deye Cloud is developing from equipment monitoring into an AIoT energy platform connecting devices, users, partners and energy markets. It integrates inverters, storage and EV charging and uses AI capabilities for system-level energy optimisation.

The platform combines equipment, energy and ecosystem management with Copilot, AIOps and Wise functions. At the time of the announcement, Deye said Copilot was deployed in more than 70 countries, using dispatch and optimisation to help users manage energy costs.

OmniX architecture and global service

The OmniX platform uses a 1+5+N architecture based on digital-energy technology. Five core capabilities cover power conversion, battery management, energy management, safety and intelligent O&M, supporting C&I applications including industrial parks, commercial buildings, data centres and solar-storage-charging installations.

Deye stated that its business covered more than 160 countries and regions, with over seven million devices operating and 22 local service centres. Technical teams and the cloud platform support design, project delivery and remote O&M across the lifecycle.

The company also launched a global partner platform offering structured training, official certification and technical support for installers and partners, with the stated aim of developing professional capabilities in storage.

An integrated energy offering

Product development, digital energy management and the expansion of partner services form Deye's combined product, platform and service approach.

The company says it will continue developing technology and services around customer requirements and work with international partners to expand practical storage deployment and improve energy efficiency.
