Sineng supplies inverters for a 5.124 MW textile-factory PV project in Bangladesh
The rooftop project uses 125 kW commercial inverters designed for hot, humid conditions, with Active Renewable Energy acting as EPC contractor.
Bangladesh has one of the world's largest textile and garment industries. Continuous, round-the-clock production places demanding requirements on the reliability and cost of electricity. With industrial energy use rising and international brands placing greater emphasis on sustainable supply chains, distributed PV is becoming an important option for manufacturers upgrading their energy systems. Sineng Electric has recently supported delivery of a 5.124 MW commercial and industrial PV project for a knitted-composite textile business in Bangladesh, contributing to the sector's transition toward greener manufacturing.

Optimising generation to support stable production
Active Renewable Energy acted as EPC contractor. The system uses Sineng's 125 kW C&I PV inverters, adapted to Bangladesh's hot and humid climate. The company describes IP66 protection, C5 corrosion resistance, intelligent insulation monitoring and rapid fault response as features supporting reliable long-term operation. High conversion efficiency, multiple MPPT channels and intelligent operation and maintenance are intended to maximise rooftop generation, moderate electricity costs and improve overall energy utilisation. The installation supports the factory's continuous production load and increases its energy independence.
Supporting greener textile manufacturing
Textiles and garments are a pillar of Bangladesh's economy. As an example of industrial solar deployment, the project uses rooftop space for clean generation and replaces part of the factory's conventional electricity supply with PV power, reducing emissions associated with manufacturing. As global supply chains decarbonise, the project is intended to help the factory meet international brands' sustainable-procurement requirements and provide a reference for energy-system upgrades across the local textile industry.
Developing overseas industrial-energy applications
The project adds to Sineng's overseas C&I renewable-energy portfolio and demonstrates an application of its equipment under demanding environmental conditions. The company says it will continue developing overseas markets and helping industrial customers change their energy mix, working with international partners to support regional manufacturing upgrades through cleaner electricity.
