Why two solar-module prices may not be comparable

Specification, date, currency, taxes and delivery conditions can change what a quoted price actually means.

A number quoted per watt is not a complete commercial offer. Before comparing prices, establish exactly what equipment and delivery obligations each quotation covers.

Fix the comparison basis

Record the product model, condition, quantity, currency, tax treatment and quotation validity. Identify whether freight, insurance and destination-related charges are included. A domestic listing is not automatically an overseas delivered price.

Understand who is quoting

Identify the manufacturer and the supply company separately. Confirm the warranty route and product traceability for the specific offer. Published directory prices should be treated as historical listing information unless a supplier reconfirms them.

Document remaining questions

Use a request for quotation to resolve model availability, production timing, shipping terms and required documents. Do not infer those details from a product-family page.

Our platform accepts one inquiry containing products from multiple companies. The team then coordinates supplier follow-up; no listing constitutes a binding quotation.
