Concentrated solar power uses collected solar heat in a power-generation process. It is distinct from photovoltaic cells and solar-water-heating products, even when a development combines CSP and PV in one renewable-energy project.
Project descriptions should separate electrical output, thermal capacity, storage medium and storage duration. A thermal-storage figure cannot be compared directly with a battery-system energy rating without explaining the conversion boundary.
Follow the solar field, receiver, heat-transfer system, storage and power block as connected engineering systems. Commissioning milestones and operating results belong to the specific project, rather than proving the performance of every installation using the same technology.
